Cordless Vacuum - Sketch Study
An independent design study exploring the form, ergonomics, and product architecture of a cordless stick vacuum cleaner. Through sketching and iterative development, the study focuses on component integration and proportions.
Silhouette Exploration
Exploring different silhouettes and side-view configurations to establish the overall proportions and visual character of the vacuum cleaner. This process focused on experimenting with the relationship between major components while considering ergonomics and functionality.
Form Development
Building on the initial silhouette explorations, selected directions were developed further through detailed sketches. This stage focused on refining proportions, component integration, ergonomics, and surface transitions while establishing a more cohesive design language.
CMF & Final Sketch Visualisation
The selected design direction was further developed through colour, material, and finish exploration. The final sketch focuses on communicating surface transitions, material contrasts, highlights, and reflections to give the concept a more realistic and refined appearance.
